Originally intended to eliminate accidents and to safely minimize lamps for disposal, Fluorescent Tube Crushers have a greater responsibility today: mercury in fluorescent lamps is an environmental and health hazard. Our tube crushers trap mercury and vapors during the crushing process, even during drum changes. A filter cartridge catches toxic emissions before they escape into the air while a trap door shuts behind each tube, eliminating glass fragments, dust or toxic vapors from escaping. An accurate assessment of remaining drum and filter capacity is counted by a non-contact electronic sensor. 600 lamps can be compacted into one drum for as little as 10¢ per lamp. These sophisticated yet easy to operate machines are the common sense answer to fluorescent tube disposal requirements. Models exist for a variety of volumes and lamp types including U-shaped tubes, T8 lamps, incandescent lamps, metal halide, high and low sodium pressure lamps. RHID-55E Lamp Disposer:  Includes RDS features, crushes a variety of lamp types with the exception of circular, and u-shaped lamps.   Requires only one operator, easy to move, offers fast drum change.  A very productive machine.   RULC-55FDA-E Lamp Disposer: Designed for maximum versatility, crushes U-Shaped and straight lamps.  An optional "FTPG Conversion Kit" is available for crushing large diameter tubes or, feeding two T-8 lamps at once.   LC-55FDA-E Lamp disposer: One of our earlier and long standing models.  Built for heavy-duty use, crushes straight lamps only.   Ensures years of dependable performance.  Optional "TDPG Trap Door" is also available for the LC model.

OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES FOR MODELS RULC-55FDA-E, ULC-55FDA-E (For disposal of large diameter 4 & 8

ft. Power Groove Lamps).

FTPG conversion kit will enable both the RULC-55FDA-E and ULC-55FDA-E models to crush large diameter PGT-17 Power Groove tubes. The kit includes PVC Exhaust Duct (A), Feed Tube Adapter with gasket and sensor (B). A standard Extension Feed Tube (C) (not included in kit) FTPG-4, FTPG-8 is available in two sizes for disposal of T-12, 4 or 8 foot lamps. The TD-48 Trap door (D), Feed Tube press fits onto the standard feed tube, accepts T-12 and T-8 lamps only. The TDPG-48 Trap Door (E), also press fits onto the standard feed tube, accepts Power Groove, T-12 and feeds two T-8 lamps at once.
