On-Site Solvent Recycling Systems
Today there are several forces affecting the use of solvents in the
work place contributing to a rapidly increasing demand for on-site distillation and
recovery of solvents. These forces include economic, environmental, and health and safety
issues. On-site recycling has become a popular, common sense method of reducing
solvent replacement and disposal costs in comparison to off-site recovery or disposal.
On-site distillation costs are typically less than 10¢ a gallon compared to $1.00 to
$14.00 a gallon for off-site recovery and most on-site systems pay back in less than one
year. Not only do you save money with an on-site system but you reduce the volume of
hazardous waste, reduce transportation and disposal costs and liabilities, enjoy a higher
quality of recycled solvents, as well as recover up to 90% of solvents with no additional
manpower requirements.
All units are controlled with a menu-driven microprocessor control system. Remote
displays and alarms indicate tank levels and operating status. These UL listed
microprocessor units are intrinsically safe, mount directly on the machine, and can be
interfaced with central plant control systems. This is part of what makes these unique
units so safe and simple to operate!
Engineered for durability and
ease of use, these units are about as simple and safe to use
as a dishwasher!
