Rubberizer

Rubberizer products contain, absorb, then solidify liquids into a rubber-like solid. This mixture of hydrocarbon polymers plus additives is hydrophobic, permanently buoyant (even after sorption), resistant to release (even under landfill pressures) and can be incinerated (leaving less than 1% residue). Rubberizer is available as Boom, Pillow or Loosefill. A perfect product where leaching is a concern. Rubberizer is also very effective at removing hydrocarbon contamination in sumps. Rubberizer Particulate A grainy material used mainly where sweeping and shoveling are involved. It can also be successfully used for solidification and removal of petroleum-based slicks on the surface of water which is in a controlled state. One pound of this product will solidify up to 2/3 gallons of jet fuel, diesel, gasoline, transformer oil and other liquids. Available in 6 gallon pails (15 lbs. particulate per pail) and 55 gallon plastic drums (125 lbs. particulate per drum).

Rubberizer Boom Using Rubberizer particulate as filler and a 100% polypropylene tubular encasement, these booms are multifunctional. They can be used for containment on water while sorbing a spill, and when fully loaded continue to function as containment barriers. They are soft and conformable enabling them to act as containment on airport runways or vehicle roadways. Ribbon connectors are also provided. Once absorbed liquids are solidified in around 20 minutes. Call for quantity per package and shipping weights.
Rubberizer Pillow Made with Rubberizer particulate as a filler and a 100% polypropylene fabric encasement. Rubberizer Pillows can be used to catch machine drips, for bulk cleanup and in sumps for emulsion clarification. The pillows are12 inches wide by12 inches long. They will sorb and solidify up to 1 gallon per pillow.
